On Sunday, August 21, a reading took place of a new edit of William Shakespeare's Richard III. The venue was Theatre Unleashed, 11031 Camarillo St, North Hollywood, CA 91602.

This version, dubbed R III, is scheduled for production by Actaeon Players sometime in 2017. Rendered by Acteaon dramaturg David MacDowell Blue, this version hopefully will offer a fresh look at this popular classic, but remaining true to the original text. All the lines are by Shakespeare, for example (even if some of them aren't from this specific play).

Taking part were: Elisabeth Anne C. Fenning, Gordon Schlichter, Stephen Anthony Bailey, Kevin Alai, Vincent Cusimano, Steven Alloway, Michelle Danyn, Jason Britt, Anna Gion, Amanda Dyba, PJ Megaw and Katie Mapel.
